Four Jalawlaa suicide bombing suspects arrested

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Tuesday arrested four persons in Jalawlaa suspected of involvement in the suicide bombing that took place in the district yesterday (Mar. 23), which left 27 dead and 48 injured, said a source from Jalawlaa police. “The arrests took place in a raid operation in Ashti neighborhood, central Jalawlaa district (30 km southwest of Khaneqeen),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not mention further details, but noted that interrogations are underway with the four arrested suspects. On Monday (Mar. 23), a security source said that a suicide bomber blew himself up amid mourners at a funeral in Jalawlaa, leaving casualties.
