Turkish president leaves Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Turkish President Abdullah Gul left Baghdad on Tuesday afternoon, concluding his historic visit to Iraq, during which he held meetings with President Jalal Talabani, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and a number of Iraqi officials, according to a statement released from deputy prime minister’s office. “Deputy Prime Minister Rafeaa al-Eissawi saw the Turkish president off at the Baghdad airport on Tuesday afternoon (Mar. 24),” said the source received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
