VP urges Turkish president to boost bilateral relations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdelmahdi met with the visiting Turkish President Abdullah Gul in Baghdad, urging him to strengthen bilateral relations. “During a meeting on Monday evening, the two officials discussed several political, security and economic issues,” according to a statement released by Abdelmahdi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Gul stressed his country’s willingness to contribute to reconstruction efforts in Iraq, the statement added.
