Iraqi FM urges Vietnamese official to reopen embassy in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari on Monday received the Vietnamese deputy foreign minister and his accompanying delegation, with whom he discussed reopening the Vietnamese embassy in Baghdad. “The meeting tackled means of bolstering bilateral relations in political, oil, agricultural, industrial and commercial fields,” according to a statement of the foreign ministry received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The guest will convey a message from Vietnamese prime minister to his Iraqi counterpart, Nouri al-Maliki, during his meeting with him later in the day,” it added.
