Curfew lifted in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Local authorities in Falluja on Wednesday lifted the curfew that was imposed on the city after the suicide car bombing that one civilian dead and 35 injured, according to a security source from the city. “The curfew was imposed on Falluja after the suicide bombing that took place in the city on Tuesday evening (April 7),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “All the cities inlets are open now, and people can move freely,” he added. Earlier, a police source said that Iraqi security authorities imposed a curfew on Falluja after the suicide car bomb explosion which killed a civilian and injured 35 on Tuesday. Security sources had said on Tuesday (April 7) that a suicide bomber blew up a car rigged with explosives near a checkpoint in Nahr Flieh Ajbeel, south of Falluja, killing a civilian and injuring 35, including five policemen. Falluja,the largest city in Anbar province, lies 45 km west of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
