Urgent / Truck bomb kills soldier, injures 20 in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi soldier was killed and 20 others were wounded Friday in a suicide truck bomb explosion in southern Mosul, according to a police source. “A suicide bomber blew up a truck crammed with explosives on Friday (April 10) targeting a police station near al-Ghazlani camp in Dourat Baghdad region in southern Mosul, killing a soldier and inuring 20, including a number of policemen,” the source told IraqiNews.com, noting that the death toll most likely to increase. “The explosion jolted Mosul city,” eyewitnesses said. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 1
