4 wounded in family dispute

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: A man wounded four members of his family in a domestic dispute near Arbil city, the director of Arbil police said on Saturday. “The man opened AK-47 gunfire on his family members,” Colonel Abdulkhaliq Talaat told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The incident took place in Khabat suburb, 35 km west of Arbil,” he said. “His wife, two daughters and son-in-law were wounded in the incident,” he added. Talaat attributed the incident to family disputes. “Police forces arrested the man, and the wounded were admitted to hospital,” he pointed out. Arbil city lies 349 km northeast of Baghdad.
