New system to release detainees in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Starting from Saturday, detainees who would have a judicial order for their release will be relieved from detention within 24 hours after the order is issued, without using the previous system of releasing detainees that relied on dispatches, said a source from Ninewa province’s police. “The previous system used to require a dispatch size of 50 or 100 detainees prior to their release,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The dispatch system is now invalid,” he added.
