Deputy PM, UN envoy discuss reconciliation, disputed areas

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Premier Rafie al-Issawi on Monday met with the special representative of the United Nations secretary-general for Iraq (SRSG), Staffan de Mistura, to discuss national reconciliation efforts and disputed areas. “The meeting tackled several issues, supervised by joint committees of representatives of the world organization and the Iraqi government,” according to a statement released by Issawi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
