FM holds talks with British ambassador

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari discussed with the British ambassador in Baghdad the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to Britain to take part in the conference of investment in Iraq which will be held in London by the end of April, according to an official statement. “Zebari received at his office in Baghdad on Tuesday afternoon (April 21) the British Ambassador in Baghdad Christopher Prentice upon his request,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting tackled bilateral relations and the scheduled visit of al-Maliki to Britain to take part in the conference of the investment in Iraq which will be held in London by the end of the running month with the participation of more than 400 Iraqi and foreign businessmen,” it added.   SH (P)/SR 1
