2009 is Air Force year- minister

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Minister of Defense Abdulqadir Mohammed Jassem on Wednesday said that 2009 will be the Air Force year, calling on the Iraqi army to uproot the remnants of terrorism in the country. The statement came during a ceremony held by the Ministry of Defense at al-Muthanna airbase to mark the 78 th anniversary of the Iraqi Air Force. During a field visit to the base, the minister visited an Iraqi aircraft exhibition. The ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff Gen.
