Iraqi navy to receive responsibility over port

Iraq-Decree BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Supreme Command of the Iraqi Navy will receive the full responsibility over Khor Al-Amiya port from the Multi-National Forces (MNF) by the end of this month (April 2009), a source from the command said on Wednesday. “ The responsibility for the port will be handed over in a ceremony on April 30, 2009,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “ Political and military figures from both sides will attend the ceremony,” he added.
