15 suspects arrested on terror charges in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Fifteen persons on Saturday were arrested on terror-related charges in Anbar province, according to a local security source. “On Saturday, a force from Aameriyat al-Falluja police arrested 15 suspects believed to have been involved in acts of terrorism against the Iraqi security apparatus in Ahsa village and several other villages,” Maj. Ghazi Faysal told IraqiNews.com news agency. An investigation is currently underway, the official noted. Falluja was a scene of armed conflict between U.S. and Iraqi forces on the one hand and al-Qaeda gunmen on the other. Falluja, the capital city of Anbar, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital of the province, lies 110 west of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
