19 arrested during Basra raids

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Nineteen wanted persons on Saturday were captured during a wide-scale security operation in Basra province, according to a local police source. “During raid-and-search campaigns in different parts of the province, 19 wanted men were arrested on terror and criminal charges,” the relations and media office in Basra police told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A total of 36 unlicensed vehicles and 17 motorbikes were seized during the campaign,” according to the office.
