“Terrorists” will receive Iran’s strong reply – Larijani

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iranian Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said on Sunday that “terrorists” responsible for al-Kadhemiya bombings will receive Iran’s strong reply over these “crimes”. “Those terrorists have to learn that they already entered a dangerous zone,” Larijani threatened in an address before the Majlis on Sunday. “These incidents (in Iraq) and some worthless moves by terrorists inside Iran during the past few days affirm that the United States has hatched a scheme to drag terrorists into a minefield set up with money from some of the countries of the region,” he added. Security sources had told IraqiNews.com news agency that two suicide bombers with explosive vests attacked a gathering of Iranian pilgrims on Friday at the Shiite shrine of Imam Moussa al-Kadhem in Baghdad, killing 60 people and wounding 100 others. On Thursday, two suicide bombings, one of them in Diala province, targeted Iranian pilgrims, killing nearly 50 of them. Iranian ambassador in Baghdad Hassan Kazhemi Qomi said the Iraqi government should shoulder the responsibility of provide security for Iranian visitors. “The Iraqi government has formed an ad hoc committee to investigate these recent incidents. Iran is waiting for the out come of this committee,” Qomi said in statements. AmR (S) 1
