Six wanted men nabbed, ammo seized in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested six wanted men and seized a large amount of arms and ammunition during a security operation that covered different parts of Basra province, the relations and media office in Basra’s police said on Monday. “During search raids in different parts of Basra province, six wanted men were arrested on criminal charges and a 60mm mortar was seized…,” the office told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Meanwhile, 68 mortar shells (82mm), 15 vehicles and 4 motorbikes were confiscated in the border area of al-Shalamja, eastern Basra,” the office noted.
