URGENT / Iraqi soldier kills 2 U.S. soldiers south of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two U.S. soldiers were killed by an Iraqi soldier’s fire inside one of the Iraqi army’s camps to the south of the city of Mosul on Saturday, an officials security source in Ninewa said. “An Iraqi soldier opened fire today (May 2) on U.S. army personnel who were inside an Iraqi military camp in Hammam al-Aleel district, south of Mosul, killing two of them instantly,” the source, who preferred not to be named, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The source did not give further details on the incident or the fate of the Iraqi soldier. IraqiNews.com failed to contact the U.S. side for comments.
