Al-Qaeda element busted north of Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Quick Response forces on Monday arrested an al-Qaeda element during a security raid in the north of Hilla city, a security source said. “A force from the Quick Response Department (QRD) managed on Monday (May 4) to arrest an al-Qaeda element during a security operation in al-Askandariya district, north of Hilla,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operation was based on intelligence information,” he added. Hilla, the capital of Babel, is located 100 km south of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
