PM receives French FM

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraq premier Nouri al-Maliki on Monday received in Paris the French minister of foreign and European affairs, Bernard Kouchner, who stressed to al-Maliki that French businessmen want to invest in Iraq, according to a release issued by the premier’s media office. “Hundreds of companies and businessmen have the intention to work in Iraq, and they are not as afraid as they were before,” the release quoted Kouchner talking to al-Maliki. “We are happy that the two countries have a mutual desire to expand cooperation and develop relations,” al-Maliki told Kouchner.
