Wassit inks 3 MoUs with Italian firms

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Wassit’s investment commission on Wednesday signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with a number of Italian companies, according to the head of the commission. “The commission has responded to a request by Italy to negotiate with a number of its companies over the implementation of investment projects in the province,” Sattar Jabir told IraqiNews.com news agency. Several foreign companies and businessmen have expressed their readiness to cooperate and invest in Iraq, Jabir noted. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
