CBI sells $481m in one week

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Total demand on the dollar climbed up slightly in Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) sessions during the week’s five sessions to reach $481.693 million at a stable exchange rate of 1,170 Iraqi dinars (ID) per one dollar for the 15th week in a row compared to last week’s $473.924 million. This week’s demands reached $13.480 million at an exchange rate of ID1,176 per dollar while foreign transfers equaled $468.159 million at an exchange rate of ID1,173 per dollar. The Central Bank of Iraq runs a daily auction from Sunday to Thursday. AmR (P) 1
