50bn ID for Thi-Qar, projects to continue- governor

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi cabinet has allocated 50 billion Iraqi dinars for the implementation of new projects in Thi-Qar province, according to its governor. “An emergency budget of 50 billion Iraqi dinars ($42.5 million U.S. dollars) has been allocated for new projects in the province,” Governor Taleb al-Hassan said today during a press conference that was attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. Commenting on plans to halt work on some projects in the province, the governor said that only 113 projects will take a hiatus, adding that work will continue on 532 other projects.
