850 policemen graduated in Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Some 850 policemen were graduated from the Police Academy in the province of Babel on Thursday, according to the city’s police chief. “The graduation ceremonies included parades and live-ammo drills,” Maj. General Fadel Raddad told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding the graduates would be assigned for duties in different areas of the province. Meanwhile, Maj. Diaa Abdulhussein, the commander of the training course, dubbed as the Challenge Course, said the graduates have received training on combat, martial arts, human rights and anti-riot assignments. Babel lies 100 km south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
