Officer gunned down in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A police officer on Sunday was killed by unidentified gunmen in Ninewa’s Mosul city, according to a police source. “Today, unknown gunmen opened fire on a police lieutenant in al-Majmoua al-Thaqafeyya area, northern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The officer was off-duty and in his normal clothes,” the source explained.
