6 suspects arrested in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Diala captured six suspects in a neighborhood of al-Saadiya district on charges of involvement in acts of violence in the area, a security source in the province said on Monday. “The six were arrested in Kouran neighborhood, Saadiya, (100 km) north of Baaquba, on charges of involvement in improvised explosive device (IED) attacks in the area, the recent of which was on Sunday inside a souk (outdoor market), where two civilians were wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The suspects are currently remanded under investigative custody,” the source said, not giving further details.
