VP Abdulmahdi returns to Baghdad from Amman

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdulmahdi and his accompanying delegation arrived in Baghdad from Amman where he took part in the Davos Economic Forum. “The visit to Jordan gave me the opportunity to meet with senior officials to explain the Iraqi issues and we feel Arab and international interest on Iraq and its return to play the pivotal role in regional level,” Abdulmahdi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The vice president and his accompanying delegation participated in the Davos World Economic Forum which concentrated on the economic crisis and its impacts on the Middle East countries and ways to overcome them, the statement added.
