Drugs seized, suspect arrested in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in Talafar district on Tuesday seized an amount of drugs inside a local shop and arrested a suspect, according to a police chief. “This morning, a force from Talafar police (60 km west of Mosul) raided a black smithery shop in downtown Talafar, where it seized 120 drug pills…,” Col. Ali Hadi Obeid told IraqiNews.com news agency. The confiscated drugs are prescription drugs, the colonel noted. “A suspect was arrested in the shop and an investigation is currently underway,” the colonel added.
