Talabani chairs PUK meeting to discuss developments in Kurdistan

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan held a meeting under its Secretary General President Jalal Talabani in the city of Sulaimaniya to discuss the latest political developments in the Kurdistan region. Following the meeting, the official spokesman of PUK politburo Mala Bakhtiyar said that the meeting discussed the results of Presidents Talabani and Massoud Barzani’s meeting in Salah el-Din resort. Mala Bakhtiyar noted that a general meeting of PUK leadership will be held on Monday (May 25) to discuss the latest political developments. Talabani and Barzani held a meeting in Salah el-Din resort in Arbil on Wednesday (May 20) to discuss the coming parliamentary elections and the political developments in Kurdistan. SH (P)/SR 1
