21 arrested on “criminal” charges in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Basra captured 21 men wanted on “criminal charges” in the central part of the city on Sunday, a local security source said. “The arrests were made during search raids in the areas of Nazhran and Old Basra,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The security forces also seized 29 unlicensed vehicles and 23 unlicensed motorbikes,” he added.
