Mosul blast casualties reach 45

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from the car bomb blast that ripped through Mosul city earlier today have reached 45, according to a local police source. “The final toll from the car bomb explosion that targeted a U.S. patrol vehicle in downtown Mosul city has reached 45 wounded persons,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The wounded included one policeman, who was close to the scene of the blast,” the source added. Earlier today, a booby-trapped car driven by a suicide bomber went off near the Youths & Sports Department in central Mosul. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
