Female body found northwest of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi forces found a female body in northwest of Mosul city, the director of the Talafar police said Thursday. “Security forces on Wednesday (June 3) found a body of a young girl in Owaynat village in northwest of Mosul ,” Colonel Ali Hadi Ubeid told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The body bore signs of stab wounds to separate parts of her body,” he explained. “The body was sent to the Talafar public hospital,” he added, noting that police opened investigation into the incident. Talafar is 60 km northwest of Mosul , the capital of Ninewa, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad . SH (P)/SR 1
