2 explosive belts seized in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi-U.S. force seized two explosive belts that were prepared to conduct a sabotage north of Kirkuk city, said a source from the Iraqi police on Monday. “The two explosive belts were seized in a raid operation in al-Shergat suburb, north of Kirkuk,” Brigadier Sarhad Qadir told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Two wanted persons and one suspect were arrested during the operation,” he said. “The operation relied on an intelligence tip-off,” he added.
