Al-Maliki invites French PM, companies to visit Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said on Wednesday that Iraqi is waiting for the visit of French Prime Minister Francois Fillon accompanied by companies and businessmen. This came during a meeting between al-Maliki and the head of the French Total company and his accompanying delegation in Baghdad on Wednesday (June 10). “Al-Maliki valued the great efforts made by France to help Iraq, mainly French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and we are waiting for the French premier’s visit along with French businessmen,” said a statement of al-Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
