Exporting Kurdistan’s oil ‘step in the right direction’ – spokesman

BAGDHAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesman for the Iraqi government, Ali al-Dabagh, said on Wednesday that the Iraqi government considers the decision of exporting Kurdistan region’s oil as a step in the right direction. This came during a joint press conference between Oil Minister Hussein al-Shahrestani and al-Dabagh in Baghdad on Wednesday (June 10). “The amounts of exported oil through the Iraqi pipeline will boost the Iraqi state’s revenues,” al-Dabagh said at the press conference.
