VP, PM confer oil sector program

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel AbdulMahdi conferred on Wednesday with Premier Nouri al-Maliki cases related to the political, security and economic situation in the country, including a government program for the oil sector, according to the VP’s media office. “The two officials conferred methods to develop oil production to increase revenues,” said a release issued by the VP’s media office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “They also discussed the role of the Unified Iraqi Alliance (UIA) and methods to develop the UIA and expand it,” the release added.
