Security leaders conf. kicks off in Baghdad, al-Maliki attends

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The security leaders conference started on Thursday morning with the participation of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Addressing the gathering, the premier calls on security authorities to avoid wide-scale raids, during which several innocents are arrested. “The conference is a clear evidence of the security and stability in the country and the great efforts exerted to realize these security successes,” he added, highlighting the importance of protecting human rights.
