11 suspects, wanted men arrested in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Police forces Monday arrested 11 wanted men and suspected gunmen, and seized long-range cannonballs during a security operation in southern Thi-Qar province, according to a release issued by the province’s police department. “Police forces seized six cannonballs (152 mm size) and arrested five suspects in a wide-scale searching operation at Ummil-Hjol area, 7 km south of Nassiriya city, at the Nassiriya-Basra highway,” said the release received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces also arrested six men wanted for different criminal cases,” it added.
