Basra airport hotel handed over to Iraqis

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The hotel of Basra International Airport on Monday was handed over to the Iraqi civilian authorities by the British forces in ceremonies in the province, according to the troops’ commander. “This hotel was the house of the Multi-National Force’s (MNF) military and civilian personnel during the part six years,” the commander told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The hotel will contribute to the Airport to be Basra’s gate to the world,” he said.
