Joint operations room to crackdown gunmen in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A joint operations room has been formed to raid “terrorists’ hideouts”, and to arrest wanted men and those who are involved in attacking security forces, media director of Anbar police department said Monday. “The joint force includes Iraqi army troops, police and emergency brigades,” Major Raheem Zibin told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The force aims at providing support to any patrol in duty,” he said. “The forces participating in the campaign are equipped with the best vehicles, arms, and communication devices that have been supplied to the Iraqi army and police during the past years,” he added.
