20 wanted men, suspects nabbed in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Joint Iraqi forces on Tuesday arrested 20 wanted men and suspects in eastern Falluja city, according to a local security source. “A force from the Iraqi army and police arrested 20 wanted men and suspects in different areas and villages in al-Karma district, eastern Falluja,” Raed Yaseen Mohammed told IraqiNews.com news agency. On Monday (June 15), Falluja’s police director, Col. Mahmoud al-Issawi announced the launch of a wide-scale security campaign in the city. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar province, lies 45 km west of Baghdad, while Ramadi, the capital of the province, is 110 km west of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
