Agreement with China, Germany to establish border compounds

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq signed an agreement with China and Germany to establish border compounds with its neighbors, head of the Iraqi Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry said Wednesday. “The compounds will allow investors to move between Iraq and its neighbors,” Jaafar al-Hamdani told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Foreign investors are hesitating to work in Iraq, and the investment process in the country requires more effort,” he said.
