Talabani, deputy U.S. envoy tackle bilateral ties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani on Thursday discussed with the deputy U.S. envoy to Baghdad bilateral relations with the United States, according to a presidential statement. “Talabani met with the deputy U.S. ambassador to Iraq, Robert Ford, and his accompanying delegation to discuss means of fostering bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States in a manner that ensures common interests of both countries,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
