Cop killed, father wounded by gunmen in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunmen on Saturday killed a policeman and wounded his father during an attack in Mosul city, according to a local security source. “Unidentified gunmen intercepted the car of the cop, who was on vacation with his family near al-Maash market, western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gunmen opened fire on the vehicle, killing the policeman and wounding his father,” the source noted.
