7 suspects captured in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Seven suspects on Sunday were arrested in Anbar province for their suspected involvement in armed attacks against security personnel, according to a local security source. “The arrests occurred in Karmat al-Falluja villages,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The arrests were made in light of intelligence tips,” the source noted, adding that an investigation is currently underway. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital of the province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 1
