Iraq announces three-day mourning for al-Hakim’s death

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi government announced on Thursday an official mourning period of three days as of today for the death of Abdulaziz al-Hakim, to al-Iraqia channel said in a Urgent. The Kurdistan’s presidency said on Wednesday (Aug, 26) that President Massoud Barzani announced the general mourning in Kurdistan for three days over al-Hakim’s death. Abdulaziz al-Hakim died on Wednesday (Aug. 26) in Tehran of lung cancer. SH (P)/SR 1
