Iraq’s junior soccer team arrives in Amman

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s junior soccer team arrived in the Jordanian capital Amman on Thursday to play in a tournament organized by the Shabab al-Ardon club, the Iraqi delegation chief said. “Iraqi will play the Jordanian club within the first encounter in the tournament that starts on August 28 and ends on September 6,” Hadi Jawwad told Iraqi News. “The Iraqi team will also play Jordan’s al-Ramtha club and Syria’s al-Majd,” Jawwad added.
