Soon: Conf. on Investment Law in Kurdistan

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Investment Commission in Iraq’s Kurdistan region will hold a conference to discuss amendments to the Investment Law, according to the web site of the regional government. “The conference will be held in cooperation with a Lebanese company…,” the web site quoted an official from the commission, Haydar Mostafa, as saying. The law was issued three years ago, Mostafa noted, arguing that amendments are necessary to cope with the developments in the international investment climate. SS (P) 1
