Official guards ordered not to block roads – PM

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki ordered officials’ guards to stop blocking roads while moving inside cities, according to a release issued Monday by the National Media Center. “The premier ordered to form discipline checkpoints at intersections to prevent this issue,” said the release that was received by Iraqi News. “The order excluded three motorcades from the new measures: the president’s, the premier’s, and the parliament speaker’s,” it said.
