U.S. base in Falluja turned over to Iraqi army

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: U.S. forces on Wednesday handed over a military base in Falluja to Iraqi army forces, according to an informed source. “The U.S. military base in eastern Falluja has been handed over to the 1 st division of the Iraqi army,” a source from the Iraqi army told Iraqi News. Watchtowers, CCTV cameras and military equipment have been removed from the base, the source pointed out.
