Iraq, Jordan discuss agreements

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki held a meeting Thursday afternoon with his Jordanian counterpart Nader al-Dahabi. “The two sides discussed means to develop the two countries’ relations, in addition to political, security and economic agreements between the two sides,” according to a source from the Iraqi cabinet. “The meeting is going on now,” the source told Iraqi News. “A news briefing will follow the meeting,” he said. The source expected that agreements between the countries will be announced. Al-Dahabi arrived in Baghdad Thursday leading a Jordanian ministerial delegation on an official visit to Iraq. MH (P)/AmR 1
